What Happens After the Defendant Gets Bailed Out?
Our bonding company has bailed out many men and women over the years. If the defendant fails to appear in court after bail is posted, the bail bond is forfeited, and the court requires the remaining 90% of the bail to be paid. The bail bondsman can use the defendant’s collateral to pay the court the remaining balance.
